MKPortal/TP/SMF

Noooooooo not another MKportal/TP topic.  Well, sorry.  I can't seem to get a straight forward answer.

I love how TP works, but I HATE how it looks.  It's got everything I need, but it just doesn't seem to LOOK like a real homepage.  It just looks like modified forums.  With respect, that it IS a mod of SMF.  I realize that.

I've successfully been able to integrate MKPortal with SMF.  It's very easy, actually, actually easier than setting up TP (less files to manually change).  MKportal makes my forums look like they have an actual website, whereas TP does not.

I've had no luck w/ Mambo and won't even try Joomla based on what I've heard.  That is, integrating one of those CMS's with SMF.

I really want to integrate MKPortal/TinyPortal with SMF.  Has ANYONE been able to do this?

I really love the SMF forum software, it just sucks that I haven't found one complete WORKABLE system.

Can anyone assist me with my MKPortal/TP/SMF inquiry?

As I read it in your other post, it is a Mkportal issue. Why don''t you ask the question at their site as well. Maybe someone could help you over there
