Hello everybody,

I am using smf 1.1.1 and joomla 1.0.12 with a language different than English.

When I choose smf_registration at the bridge and the users try to activate the password reminder, they get 'invalid activation key'.

It took me a while to figure out this has to do with the bridge parameter called:'Synchronize Language from Mambo/Joomla to SMF?'. When this parameter is set to no the I get  'invalid activation key' . When the parameter is set to yes I get the annoying message at the bottom and the forum is not working properly

Any thoughts?

Many thanks, tamirzzz

What does the link in the activation email look like?

Hi,

Thanks for your swift reply.

I looked into it and your guess was right! At the end of the URL I see address+ip attached , and this is what causing the invalid activation key. It is obvious that I just need a small "</BR>" between the two.

I looked all over the forum folder +the DB and I cannot seem to find where they keep the text files that the mail is based on.

Could you please help?

Thank you,

Tamirzzz
