When can a converter for phpBB3 be expected

ok, i installed phpBB3 today, and i want SMF instead and i don't wanna wipe my databases because i did that like 5 times today (the install worked like crap), i just wanna know when can i expect an importer, week, month, year?

Like I posted in another post I hope to have a converter soon.  Maybe over spring break if I don't have too much hw and work.

At the moment our converter specialist is away so he is unable to make a phpbb3 converter.
