Help with Installing themes

I'm new to SM and I need to know how to put in Themes. It says I can upload them from a folder but I try that and inside the folder are more folders..and more folders inside those folders. I tried zipping it all and uploading it but it doesn't work. So I'm wondering how to do it..Can someone tell me?

Admin >> Themes and Layout >> Install a New Theme - From a file: >> Select your downloaded theme. It should than install

I select my downloaded theme..which is a folder I named Brown_Theme. But then I see php files..there is an Image folder which has all the forum images..and more folders..My problem is I don't know what to select.

You do not need to do a thing with the files.

Admin >> Themes and Layout >> Install a New Theme - From a file: >> Select your downloaded theme

It automatically does everything for you putting it in FTP. Just upload your themes .zip.
