questions:
What version of SMF? What version of bridge? What version of Joomla? What gallery?

Possible issues:
You seem to be using a rocket theme...
You may have included something into your joomla template incorrectly.

Actually, on further investigation, it does not appear that you even have the bridge installed...   why are you asking on the simplemachines.org boards for something that is not related to SMF at all?

because it is reading out of my SMF gallery despite the fact that I don't yet have a bridge.

Try using full URLs instead of relative URLs.
