UPDATE: confused about what version is installed

This might be a stupid question but here it is anyway: I have updated SMF from 1.0 RC1 to RC2 today but I am confused about what my admin page tells me:
In the Version Check and the detailed version check it says:
Your Version:    SMF 1.0 RC2
Current Version: SMF 1.0

Does this mean I am not up to date yet?
Does this mean RC2 is not the latest version but 1.0 is?
Maybe 1.0 is for charter members only?
