Email Users from Control Panel?

In my current 1.1.2 release I do not see an option available in the control panel to directly send a member an email if they have supplied an email address. I only see an option to send the user a private message.

Has this function been added in later releases or is the ability to send email to users from the control center not an available option for administrators?

Thanks

the news and newsletters area in the admin cp will allow you to send emails unless you opt to send via pm

Well, 1.1.2 does have that function, like BlackMage just explained, but I still suggest you upgrade O-o; there are quite a few security flaws that've been fixed.
