I've used this software since back in the YaBBse days and love it. Why its taking me so long to ask this question I have no idea but anyway looking for some answers.

How do you as admins handle those folks who don't read the PM notification emails (and the very clear warning) and just reply to them? My problem is- my newer board is a group of parents of kids with a medical condition and sometimes personal information goes through PM. They goof up and I get the email instead. Now I don't want them feeling like I have a way to read these and that I sit ther and do that all day but I also wanna make sure the people are aware the message didn't go through. I have sent out warnings before but we grow so fast- theres more people everyday and dont want them to feel singled out. And could rip them for not reading but because of the medical condition, these parents go through enough- they don't need me jumping on their case.

Just wondering how others handle the issue.

Oooops Sorry Mods,

if this subject is better suited for Building Your Community and other Forum Advice, please move. I jumped the gun and saw Anything that doesn't  fit anywhere else....... and figured I had the right spot.

standard, there's no easy was to handle it, since emails are (by default) sent form the admin account email.

BUT! there's actually a mod that could help you...

basically, you set up "[email protected]" and have an auto-responder on that account that bounces the email and reminds the users not to reply to notifications.

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

Thanks Kindred
I'll take a look at that mod when I get home.
