Email harvesting

Hi all

I intend for an initial phase to let guests read and browse all the forum content.
To increase group cohesiveness and collaboration I think it is my responsibility to ensure that users who wish to make their email public are not taken advantage of by SpamBots.
The million dollar question is how can I do that in a user friendly way? I got some suggestions earlier but they include visual verification, which is not HCI compliant and disadvantageous to users with visual impairment( Legal requirement here). The other major issue is that users are tired of forms and time is very scarce.

There is a mod that when you click the email button will present them a form to email with. I think that is the only method that is easy and doesn't impact those who are visually impaired.

I resolved it by creating a simple script that returns emails as PNG.
No sign of the @ which means SpamBots will not be able to pick it up.
For now at least, may be if there are ones that use OCR?  Who knows?!!
The good thing about it is that it is very user friendly, very accessible and does not require any extra time from the user and no frustrating visual verification.
