News Feeds and Publishing

Im not sure what board this should be posted to so I apologize in advance if this is the incorrect one.

I am using Tinyportal for my front-end and would like the ability to subscribe to blogs and news feeds and automatically have those news and blog articles updated on my main page whenever a new article or blog post, etc is published.

Is it possible to do something similiar but drop these types of postings directly into a 'news' board or something similiar on my forum?

I am guessing this would be much like a subscriber feed. I just want the links and maybe a paragraph or whatever published and linked from my site to the original source. The idea being I would like to turn my site into a central repository to news stories and blogs for my niche target audience.

are you trying to post an RSS feed in a tinyportal block?   If so, I'd suggest asking over on the tinyportal support forum. I think some other have done so.

or are you asking how you can import an RSS feed as forum posts?   If so, I know there used to be a mod to do just that.

I would like to do both :-) Or one or the other depending on which one is the easiest or offers the best results.
