Hey guys I am curious to know if I can put some kind of code to acknowledge that a certain post has been "applauded" by being given a karma. I have been asked by a few members about this and don't know what to say hehehe.

Do you mean you want your users to be notified whenever their Karma has been changed? The closest thing I found is this Karma Mod. If that's not what you need, you might want to try requesting for one here.
