Hello,

I'm running this forum software for a support forum.  Right now I have it setup for support of one system.  There are several general and specific forums.  I want to expand this to add another system, but I don't want to clutter the main page with dozens of forums.  I wanted to make a new forum for each of the systems, then move all of the forums that are part of those into the respective forum.  However, the forum software does not allow enough forum depth to accomplish this...

I have this structure currently:

Main
- General
    - Topics
- System 1 Part A
    - Topics
- System 1 Part B
    - Topics

I want to set this up to add System 2, but have the Parts be subforums for the Systems, which are subforums of the main:

Main
- General
    - Topics
- System 1
    - Part A
       - Topics
    - Part B
      - Topics
- System 2
    - Part A
       - Topics
    - Part B
      - Topics

My understanding so far is that this would not be possible.  I just wanted to confirm here before I waste any more time.  If this will not be possible to implement without heavy customization, I'm just going to have to setup additional independent forums to expand.  I did not want to do this because of the General forums that have information that is not specific to any of the systems, so should be viewed/shared by all.

Thanks.

Care to explain?

Am I missing something simple somewhere and I'm just an idiot?  (Honestly, I'd prefer this to a complicated problem...)

Where you create a new board just choose child of and do it as many times as you want, my site has child boards in child board for example.

I swear I tried this before, and it would not work...

But I just did it.  Now I can reformat the forums to work they way we need.

Thank you!!
