After installing SMF on a new server i have restored an old database on it. And all the things are working properly, but the attachments are not showing, attachment KB aslo showing.
Please tell me what to do?

My SMF Version: 1.1.4

First thing that comes to mind, did you move the attachment folder from the old installation to the new one?
If you did, what are the permissions of the attachment folder?

oh! I have moved attachment folder. it is 777

If you did move it, then check the settings - the path might be set incorrect, or the permissions wrong.
Admin -> Attachments and Avatars -> Attachments directory

Noticed your edit above, 777 should work... So that's not it.
I can't think of much else... *think* Don't know what else it could be..

Please do not bump your topic within 24 hours time.

Let's just make sure all your settings are correct since you just moved. Use repair_settings.php and make sure that the database information is correct. Then click on the Recommended values. Save the changes. Delete the repair_settings.php file once you are done. Then go to Admin->Forum Maintenance and run the repair and recount options. See if anything changed.

I've noticed that the attachments are not showing if members do not have a primary membergroup assigned. Try creating a new group based on Regular Members and move all your users to it, it sorted things on my forum.

Rumbaar

That is usually due to the Regular membergroup or a Post Count group not having the right permissions to access/show attachments.  Check these membergroup permissions.

Yes, but as administrator (if DonJuan is the admin) he has the full permissions.
DonJuan, check the size of the attachment's folders, the one on the previous server (if you have still the folder in there) and the size of the new (server) one.

Well due to the date of DonJuan posts, my post was in response to Davors post. :)
