Unfortunately at this time it is not for download and it has not been decided if it will be included in the new SMF 2.0 when it is released.

Would be a great move by SMF to have that as the default theme

There is a concept for a new theme being floated around. It will not be the same as the theme on this site, if it gets chosen to be a new default theme and done in time for 2.0 final.

Now, please let this rest. No amount of whining will convince us to release this publicly. We have much better ideas in the works.

No one said that there is going to be a *new* theme, the only thing knows is that work is being done to get a sementical version of the default theme out.

Semantic is perhaps an interesting way of saying that the html is going to be more easy for both humans and computers to understand, I think that it means stuff like more divs, less tables and etc. Also it means having good consistency with your html code and some other stuff...

Heh heck no. I am just saying that there is no decision known that weather there will be a new default theme or weather this site's theme will publish or not.

Also, while there might be some ideas for a new theme going around, that doesn't by any means indicate there will be a new default theme. You'll just have to wait and see.
