Need help adding link "show all unread posts" on the main page

I looked all over the forum and haven't found this yet but maybe someone could direct me in the right place or show me how to do this.

I would like a link to "show all unread posts" added on the main page under "Show unread posts since last visit."

I hope I explained that right. kinda new at this.

Why exactly do you want to do that?

Showing all the unread posts when you last visited is essentially the same as viewing all the unread posts, isn't it?

no because that would only show the posts since you last visited. I want the one that shows all the posts you haven't seen on the entire board. you can only use the posts since last visit once per visit not each time you want to see new posts.

I'm probably not explaining this well ....

basically I want to not have 2 actions. if you click on unread posts since last visit and you get nothing there is that other link that says "try all unread posts" I want that link to show on the main page as "show all unread posts"

Copy the normal show unread posts link. Add this to the href:

;all

and change it's name as you like.
