Mark Personal Messages Unread and Daylight Savings Auto Update Time

Obviously I have two features to request.

1.) The ability to mark personal messages unread.
2.) Daylight Savings Auto Update Time.

• The Ability To Mark Personal Messages Unread
  This will allow you to mark a PM as unread much like marking a topic unread. It would be an option in the admin to allow it and it may require that PM's have to be clicked on to open or when mark unread is clicked, it directs them to the homepage. I personally think that the PM system would only be able to view messages when clicked. So the single message mod or whatever it is.
  
  
• Daylight Savings Auto Update Time
  Those of you who run forums with a time zone that has a daylight savings time should be able to set it up with a few options in the admin. Here are the options:
  Enable / Disable
  Is Daylight Savings Time Going Now: Yes / No
  When does Daylight Savings Time First Change: Month / Day / Year
  When does Daylight Savings Time Secondly Change: Month / Day / Year
  Since Bush is fooling around with our times and who knows what the next president will do, so it is better to choose the times rather than having them coded.
  When daylight savings time is going, or not: Depending on the current time, it will update it.
  I think with this, instead of setting up a time offset, there should just be a time zone picker.

2.) Daylight Savings Auto Update Time.

I think it's a good idea, but i don't know if this a real featuere that should be added into smf .

I can only say that i programmed a beta version for this, but at the moment there is a bug in the auto update, and i need to fix it first before i can release it. But you can try the beta if you like http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=254593.0

I agree with both suggestions. The automatic DST detection in the core can really be useful.
