url modification

Currently I have these urls, for examples:

www.mydomain.com/index.php?board=1.0
www.mydomain.com/index.php?topic=120.50

I want those two urls to converge into one:

www.mydomain.com/index.php?board=1.0-topic=120.50

Which file do I open to make this change?

There is no need to merge them as a topic resides on a particular board.  Also merging them could cause some conflicts.  Say topic 120 is on board 3, then what doese the system do?

Why do you want them together?  The purpose of having them apart is, among other things, to make moving topics smoother.
