Unapprove for deletion

I have a member awaiting approval for deletion is it possible to reverse this and not delete.  Dont knnow how it got approved in the first place thanks.

I've noticed that too. I used phpMyAdmin and found the member in smf_members and changed his activation status back to 1. It's probably not a good method for most people since most have not used phpMyAdmin.

I'm not sure if there's an easy way using SMF's control panels. Perhaps somebody will come along and explain the correct way to accomplish this.

Go into Admin > Members > Member Approvals and check the box for that member. Select the drop down and choose Reject

I done it the way deprecated said and it has worked ok but i am still left with a notice saying unapprovrd 1   in the user box.
Any way to get rid of this.

I think you might have to revert it back via phpMyAdmin and then try greyknight17's suggest.  I'm sure this process alters all applicable db entries to clean up and flags.
