Hi community,

I would love to see if the package manager would undo any changes, whenever
their occur errors during installation. I have tried to install the
"topic solved" mod but always get some error at the Subs-Package.php.

All other changes have been applied and so if I try to install again, all changes
will be done again and a redefinition of functions etc. is the result.

So if some error like this occures, then really all changes should automatically be undone.

Note.: this error occurs AFTER having pressed "Proceed" up to this point everything went fine.!

Does it actually make the changes, I managed to re-produce it but it never made the changes.

Put you shouldn't hit "Proceed" until all the error messages have gone. The point of the initial "Failed/Succeeded" page is to tell you whether the install will work if you choose to go ahead with it. I guess maybe we can/should put more warnings in for the user though.
I'm only a half geek really...
