After running the convert.php file for the phpbb2 v2.0.19 into the smf1.1.2 forum

The admin cannot make any changes to any user records which were imported to the community builder component in joomla 1.0.12

Receive the following message:

You cannot delete a `registered`user. Only higher-level users
have this power.

I also tried to make changes to a user and received somewhat the same message in that is said .. cannot change a "registered"....

How can I correct this?

It also seems something might have happened after running the sync function in smf bridge. What do I do?

Thanks for your help.

Did you previously have a phpBB integration installed in Joomla?

designm

No.

But, I had an installation in Mambo previously integrated from phpbb2 to smf into it (Mambo). Then, I changed my mind in using Joomla instead; so, converted that same phpbb2 forum (it was a restored copy) into smf into Joomla (and has community builder also). There are problems with not being able to access or make changes from community builder users on the administrator side - seems to have something to do with the users that had migrated into smf from phpbb2. Can you help?

BTW - The conversion really went smooth for Mambo. Did not have any problems.

The problem with the PhpBB integration is that it modifies the table structure of your Mambo/Joomla database.

You'll need to restore the Joomla tables to their default structure.

Thanks so much.

A friend looked over the db and walked me thru to fix it. Basically, the migrated users from the forum into community builder needed to been restored from "1" to "18" uid's and the super admin is able to make changes to the comm builder admin cp users' records.  I think it is fixed.
