I am getting this error.

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.7, while your database is at version 1.1.6. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

Please let me know how i can fix it ?

try installing the mod manually .. i had the same problem

Because I'm not an admin, or are any of your guests, all they see is that a database error occured, only admins see that message.

If you can get to your admin panel, you need to see why the error is occuring in the error log.  If you can't get there, then check the smf_log_errors table in the database to see what the full error is.

What is the last thing you did to your board?

I am the admin of the site... right now even i cant access the admin area of the website...

This is a forum i dont know what was posted inthe forum last time by the member...

Yesterday i had changed the smiles with classic smilies... but this eror comes after 12 hours...

You'll have to do as I said above then.

Something had to have been done, either intentionally or not.  I would use phpMyadmin, or whatever database managment tool your host has, and try and repair the tables first.
