nobody but admins allowed to start new topics!

some reason or what ever nobody can start new topics besides administrators.
i do not know what happened. at first i thought it was just a group but checking other groups they can't either!!!
i do not know what to do. all permissions are global besides one and it has always been this way and suddenly nobody can start new topics! they can start new polls but not new topics!
what to do. what to do.

Check the boards that have local permissions to see if you have disabled this for those boards.

well. all 4 us admins were running around and well now all boards are local permissions... now just got to set about 50 boards to the correct permissions... so our board is offline till we do that
the one local board before was not denying them to post.
i tested around and found out only groups were affected. normal post based groups were not but those groups do not set permissions. that option is off.

ps. i only give out admin to support specialist gri. u are not a support person so no...

but why would this suddnly lose it? nobody has changed persmissions for about 2 months.

If possible give me a test admin account so that I can take a look at it.  PM it to me.

k. there ya go. tell me what could of been changed.
we can't force permissions to work, we came form using invision free and loved the ability to do daycare.  and forcing globaly to allow to post lets daycare members post anywere.

I checked permissions and everything seems to be fine.

hmmm.. oh well... now that i finished putting all boards to local permissions im not going to change them back. so i guess this works one way or another thanks for the help. even though i dont know what went wrong..
