Have a huge problem now,
yesterday everything whent ok
today when I go in the forum again
I see that I am loged in and whent to my Adminst board
to start the work on the forum again and in the Adminst login
form when enterd the password wich is the same as yesterday
this message pops up:

An Error Has Occurred!
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.

Whent back to the forum and tryed to logout as sugested
the same message poped out, tryed to change the paswword
same message popsout...

What is wrong is it better to just restart the all thing again, or is there a way to fix this error...

Did you read the sticky topic in this very board ?
You find the answer in there ;)

Also, it's not a good thing to bump your topic with in 24 hours, better use the edit topic instead if you have more to add :)

I am having the same issues logging in/out with a fresh 1.1.6 install, default theme, php 5.2.8, apache2.2.1. The error log in the database is already very extensive, the two main entries being:

"Database Error: Statement is not safe to log in statement format."

and

"Cannot modify header information - headers already sent"

The forum loads and I can sometimes log in after clearing cache/cookies, but thereafter I receive
the dreaded session verification error when trying to access the admin area of the site. I'm seeing this w/ both IE and Firefox.

Link to the forum:

hxxp:ccircourse.org/discussion2 [nonactive]

phpinfo:

hxxp:ccircourse.org/phpinfo.php [nonactive]

I've tried changing the session temp directory in php.ini, and I've tried other solutions including truncating the session table in the database, but the problem persists. NOTE: this problem does not have anything to do w/ installing mods, as I haven't gotten that far yet.

Any ideas?

JCWolf, is this issue resolved now? Did you initially install the forum manually (not via Fantastico)?

beneberle, go to Admin->Server Settings->Feature Configuration and see if you have the following options set:

Enable local storage of cookies -> Checked
Use subdomain independent cookies -> Unchecked
Use database driven sessions -> Checked

If you are using subdomains, you may uncheck the first option and check the second option.

If you still have problems, open up a new topic instead since it's originally started by JCWolf.
