can you get me a screen shot of it and also what browser are you using?

Greymalkin

Screenshot attached.  It's not a great one, but it shows the crowding.

I've tried with both Firefox and Safari, same result in both.

bullbreedluverz

the screenshot you attatched doesnt help as it doesnt show what you are saying the problem is and is blank white not an actual screenshot

it should look like the image attatched that i just took from my demo site and ive tried it in various browsers and its fine for me

you need to take a proper image screenshot of the actual menu as you say it is on your site (attatch as an image not pdf)

Okay, how do I make an image screenshot?  (OSX 10.4)

EDIT:  The screen in your image is not the one I'm having trouble with.  It's the screen that comes up once I select, say "Manage and Install."

Greymalkin

Okay, I think I've figured out the screenshot thing.

Still having the cramped menu items problem.  Also, I've discovered that the header doesn't display correctly in IE.

the theme works fine on my test site and ive had no complaints of similar issues from anyone else and its been tested in different browsers including IE

your issue with the admin menu being cramped is youve added blocks on the left that are compressing the theme down - you would need to adjust the fontsize and possibly padding on the .maintab in the index.css to try to reduce the space the buttons are using to cater for your blocks

There seem to be several .maintabs (.maintab_first, .maintab_back, .maintab_last, .maintab_active_first, .maintab_active_back, .maintab_active_last).  Should they all be edited?

have you edited some of the padding/font on the theme previously?

I don't think so.  I changed the color of the borders from orange to blue.  And I've been fiddling with index.css since then trying since then to get some of the information to not be displayed as white-on-white (screenshot of that attached).  That happens in Firefox.

In IE, other than the truncated header, the dropdown menus aren't appearing on the main screen and when I go to the lower level screens (Administration Center, for example), the menus in the boxes aren't clickable.  This only seems to happen in IE (though I haven't tried it in Safari or Opera yet).

I love this theme, and it's all most distressing.

Current index.css for the theme is also attached.

im sorry i cant reproduce the problems you are having, this theme as been tested in various browsers and works fine so i can only assume its something youe done to the theme either with your own editing or by adding mods such as the portal you are using

the issue with the menu text being too cramp is again because you have added blocks to a fixed width theme which if you reduce the width of the theme further is going to cause some problems in certain areas

you have ?> at top left which straight off shows there is some issue with poor coding on your site

i would remove any mods and see if that helps with the issues you are having as it looks to me that you may of messed up some installing

This theme will recieve no further updates (beyond 2.0RC2) in this format (Core based theme) - i may remake the theme on Curve template but please dont message me asking when as this will be done if and when i find time to convert the theme to Curve
