Text has to highlighted when editing styleshhet via Admin section

I don't know if this is happening to anybody else but I had to reboot my computer and for some odd reason, when I went back to edit my stylesheet for my custom theme which is based on the default one via the Admin section, I found that the text wouldn't show up on the background and I've checked the other one i've edited and the same thing applies as well. i've even refreshed the page and the same thing is happening and I have to highlight the text to make it appear.

Do I need to clean out the cache or is there anything else i can do to fix the problem?

Please can we have a screenshot? I'm thinking definitely theme issue.

Also does this happen if you use just the default theme?
