private additional membergoup, How can it's color or stars show?

I have a forum where I have different types of members.

Of course there are the usual 'guests' and regular (registered) 'members', but I also have a private membergroup. Some members will be added to that private membergroup as an additional group (not at a primary group).

I would like the stars that I assign to the private additional group to show up in the postings and profile. How can this be done?

Or, is there a way so that the members name will show up the color of the addtional membergroup?

Is this possible at all? I can't seem to get it to function. It seems that the stars a member receives is only controlled by the 'post count based' groups.

SMF, by default, only shows the current, primary membergroup.

I believe that there is a mod to display multiple membergroup badges
