I'm running into an issue that I am stumped about.

Our racing community has four different separate forums that users can join....one for each racing series.  The problem I am running into is that our members want to join more than just one of the forums.

After registering on one forum, they try to register in another forum they get this message:

An Error Has Occurred!
Sorry, but you're not allowed to register multiple accounts at the same time from the same computer.

I've tried clearing cache files....cookie...browsing history and it still doesn't work.  I also turned off caching in the forum itself.

Each forum has it's own database.  I don't understand why I can't solve this problem.

I am using SMF 2.0 RC1.2

Please help...

Are the four forums interconnected? If they have their own database each, they should not be aware of each other's user accounts.
Holder of controversial views, all of which my own.

The forum's are not interconnected.  Each have their own database.

I think I've got it solved. After registering on one forum the users need to completely log off not just close the window before opening the next forum and trying to register.

I don't know why this happens but it seems to have fixed the problem for now....at least I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for your help.  I'm not seeing how to mark this solved?  Weird
