How do you upgrade from 1.1.10 to 2.0?

It says visit the package manager, so I do and I install the large upgrade from this page http://download.simplemachines.org/ but it says "The package you tried to upload either is not a valid package or has become corrupted".

I'm probably doing something really simple wrong, but I've got no one to tell me where I'm going wrong so hopefully you guys will be able to help!

Take a look at the link in my signature pertaining to upgrading.  You can not upgrade to 2.0 through the package manager.  You will need to unzip the package maintaining the file structure and then FTP the entire contents to your host overwriting your existing forum files.  To start the upgrade process, you then enter into your browser address bar > http://www.yourdomain.com/upgrade.php
