Hi H

Yes, thats what excatly im trying to do!

how can i do that? everytime i try via phpmyadmin im having duplicate entry errors!

You get duplicate errors because indeed, the IDs of posts, members, everything actually, are duplicated, as the two forums developed independently. What you are trying to do is a merge of the two forums, and unfortunately this is not a very easy job. (though it's possible, sure).
I am not aware as yet of a working script that would perform the merge for you (I am working at one for 1.1.x, but without careful monitoring/bit of debugging it won't work yet), so in order to have it done you may need to manually import data in your database, query by query, changing IDs as you go, or perhaps to request that someone does it for you. Perhaps asking in Help Wanted (not for support) board would be a good idea. You may want to note that IMHO it might be hard for the moment to find someone who knows what they're doing and do it for free. (though again that may depend on how much of the data you want to import, like, only members and posts, or also notifications, polls, attachments, moderation actions etc etc).
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.
