mod approval procedure

What exactly is the mod approval procedure.  How do I know if my mod is even being ... ready to be approved or disapproved.  Should I create a topic for my mod in particular, because I figured it would be created for me once it was approved...and it seems kind of dumb to "double post".

Maybe I overlooked a sticky or something...? Alls, I'm looking for is feedback... what I may have change to have it approved, etcetera.

The SMF Customization team will look over your modification and send a PM to you with any issues found.
If none where found, or if you fixed them (By uploading the new package and replying to said PM), your mod will be approved and a support topic will be posted for it.

Please note that it can take several days for a customization to be reviewed, as often two or more customizers will independently check a mod prior to any feedback going to the mod's author.
