Number of image link limited within one post <=4? a SMF bug?

I have tried to insert image link, with BBC

If I insert more than four links, it always goto MySQL timeout page.
For less than four links, everything is fine.

Is this a bug of SMF 1.1.10?

What do you have as the settings for:
Admin > Features and Options >
  Max width of posted pictures (0 = disable)   
  Max height of posted pictures (0 = disable)

If that's anything other than 0, the forum has to download the pictures first before it can save the post, and it is probably timing out trying to get all the pictures.

That's the reason.

It has to download them from other sites, figure out their size, then update the post. With > 4 images it can easily timeout.
