SMF 2.1 bug: token verification

If this has been mentioned please disregard. While trying to make a new member an admin I get a token verification failure. Is this a new bug or a squashed bug.

Coming back to this: do you mean you are registering a new user from the admin panel when you get the token error?

No, an existing user is being made an admin and I get that error when trying to save in his profile.

Unfortunately I still haven't found any way to solve it...
To be fixed before the beta indeed.
