I wonder where are some themes?

Like Crip's Legion for example.

I'm confused why is now unavailable, and why are some other themes unavailable.

I'm guessing the attached thread was locked too? In which case I'd be guessing Crip removed it himself. He did have an awful lot of themes, so it's possible he's removed some to allow him to concentrate on the others (it's what I'm doing with mods, though I've giving them away rather than hiding them)

It's really strange for something free to become unavailable so suddenly.
After all he did create theme for smf 1.1.10 which means that theme is still compatible with current SMF version.

Well, there were issues with 1.1.11 IIRC, however I gather Crip is concentrating on 2.0 now, and he had well over 200 - which would be a nightmare to try and support.

I only had 30 mods at any one time and that was hard enough.

I can confirm Crip did indeed remove some themes to make his time more manageable. I think he had over 200 themes at one time. He's not down to about 30 I believe. If you'd like something that is missing, maybe crip will help you out. Wouldn't hurt to ask I'm sure.

Is there any commercial themes?

Arantor

Not on this site, no. We don't allow themes that cannot be freely redistributed on this site, however there are sites selling paid themes - http://blocweb.com/ and http://dzinerstudio.com/ and http://fussilet.com to name 3 off the top of my head.
