I found out about SM through MKPortal and I must say this program is very userfreindly.  I currently have a very modded phpbb forum and have become disillusioned with the program.  Many of the things I wanted I had to mod myself.   I was actually trying to integrate MkPortal into it and having a really rough time.  I decided this morning to see if I could convert to a diffrent board script and because of recommendations at MK came here.  I spent the day setting up things on my local computer and everything went like a dream ... even the import of the phpBB database.  There are still a few things I'll have to tweak to match my current features but not much. I see some mod writing in my future once I can get a good feel for the code.
