Reviving deleted members

Hi,

A few weeks ago, one of my admin had a huge fight with a member in the forum. In a fit of rage, he deleted the member rather than banning him. Thankfully he didn't delete the guy's posts. So fastforward a few weeks, they have reconciled their differences outside, and now I'm here trying to figure out how to revive him.

Any ideas? Will reregistering under the same username associate the previous posts to the new account? or is there something specific that I'd have to as an admin?

If you have a backup of the database, whilst that person was a member, then, yes, it's possible.
