Hi guys.

I recently added Post2Host plans to my web hosting, and a vBulletin Forum is where they must post to get credit for their posts. However, my support forum is SMF and most of my clients go there first. How can I make it so that when they register or sign up on my SMF forum, they're automatically registered/signed on to my vBulletin Forum?

What I want (for clarification)

  • My register page to be the same for both forums.
  • When they register in one forum, they're automatically registered in the other one.
  • When they sign in one forum, they're automatically signed in the other one.

flapjack

this is blasphemy! ;)
seriously, who will be mad enough to do this? will SSI be enough to do it?

Trouble is, it needs someone who's intimately familiar with both SMF and vB code to understand how both login systems work - and given that vB has a pricetag, and also that you didn't say what versions of either you're referring to... basically, good luck with this.
Holder of controversial views, all of which my own.
