Scheduled Tasks Sending Birthday Emails

Hi when i use birthday emails in scheduled tasks if i let the task run as it should at the scheduled time

The email that is delivered comes out all dodgy with a messed up sender and subject.

And the encoding of the message is all scrambled.

I have attached a screen shot below.

Also if the task is ran manually the email is delivered perfectly.. just doesn't seem to work on automatic.

When you reported this in the mod's report, you mentioned that other messages sent by email were broken too. Care to elaborate?

Hmmm, that's a bug in the core feature then (and isn't Birthday Posts mod)

seems like it.. but it also effects the birthday mod aswell..

With the birthday mod only the senders information is scrambled not the subject.. the subject is o.k.

That's the underlying system breaking the subject of the email then.

Perhaps how it's queued? Don't know enough about that part of SMF.

Tested quiete a few times by creating new members..

One of the emails actualy turned out o.k.

Dont know how. because i didnt change anything..

made a new account set a new time and unfortunatly the message was scrambled again.

Tested multiple times. Definatly a bug with the automated system.

aljo1985, can you supply some more information? phpinfo and language and is UTF-8 enabled?
