Hey guys -

Is it possible to move registered users into another database?

do you mean another database on the same server, another server, or maybe different prefix within same database?

JakeDuncan™

Im using 000webhost - I want to get the users from my old database and add them to the new 1 - They are both same server yes

so you want another instance of SMF and keep ONLY the registered users? that seems doable, although I haven't tried it yet. you will need access to phpMyAdmin or other similar software though

Arantor

Unfortunately it's not that simple. Member data is stored in a variety of places - the members table, attachments (for their avatar) plus there's associations to the membergroups and permissions tables...

What exactly are you trying to do?

Do you want posts etc too?

I would say, move database and then remove unneeded stuff, such as posts, etc.

JakeDuncan™

THat would help. Keeping the posts.
