   In my forum i do not deleate thread's due to the fact of later reffrence if need be. In the next release of smf i think a feature enabling moderators and admins to "Trash" threads would be a good idea. This feature would move threads with the click of a button to a trash can so called. This "trash can" could be acceced threw the moderator and admin panel.

  I am a computer programmer myself so i know that things can get kinda busy with a masive development. But maybe if you have time this feature could be added and would be a great help to many people.

  Another option maybe would be a soft deleate kinda like in vbuliting were the thread is just hiden from members but is still there. This is very helpfull also.

Thanks for taking your time and reading the submittion.
also have a good merry christams

Create a new board call it trash
Admin>>Forum>>Boards>>Settings....Enable recycle bin

Admin > Forum > Boards > Settings > Enable recycling of deleted topics
&&
Admin > Forum > Boards > Settings > Board for recycled topics

Set these to your preferred board to recycle the removed topics/posts to. I recommended only letting admins and mods view that section.

Also, lol are you also used to typing "vBulleting" instead of "vBulletin", because of that "ing"?
