Hi everyone,

I have just downloaded SMF yesterday, and installed it on my website, it took a while until I figured out this is  the type of forum I need, and that it has the paypal subscription in it, now that I went through the core features from the admin control panel and activated the paypal subscription I found out that users can subscribe only in order to move to different group-members, but this is not what I want,

What I want is simply that: if someone wants to join the forum then they have to subscribe through paypal in order to use the forum, can that be happen? is it doable? and how?

Please advice,

any idea on how I can get the code? or where?

I don't believe it exists yet it would have to be made. What you could do is make normal members not have access to the rest of the forum unless they upgrade their membergroup via a subscription

I thought about that, but it will look silly to have people register and can't use the forum until they upgrade, I want it to be they either subscribe or not at start,
is it hard to write the code? do you think I can find someone who is willing to write it?

Yes hard code to write i think you can find someone to code it though.

well, thanks a lot,
so until I find someone to write it, you suggest I let the new users register but they can't post or start topics until they upgrade?

I wonder if there is someone who has already written the code and is willing to sell it for me for a reasonable price,

Thanks a lot again.
