Encrypt stored filenames gone

Hi,

if i check Attachments and Avatars -> Attachment Settings than i can't find Encrypt stored filenames?

I use SMF 1.1.1 (last version)

I check this by theme default , use browser IE8 and Firefox.

SMF 1.1.1 is a very old version unless you just forgot to add a 1. The latest version is 1.1.11 in which case I highly suggest that you upgrade to it.

As for your problem have you tried repair_settings.php?

If that doesn't work, try increasing the amount of space your attachments folder can go up to.

If it is 1.1.11 you are using. Then that has been removed since file name encryption is on by default now.

Why would you want to change it? It is a security feature to have it enabled. If you are aching to change it though, I believe there is an option in the settings table in the sql database.

I have more than 18000 .kmz files ( google earth placemarks ) in my attachment folder , and i need that files for a new project with google maps..  if i can download all the files, than it is for me oke, after that i will change the settings.

I will check my database... thanks


i found it SQL settings -> attachmentEncryptFilenames (1) change it to (0)

It doesn't work for pictures already there, only new ones uploaded.
