avatar "no pic" red x

When someone selects "no pic" in the avatar menu they get a red x upon loading. Any idea???

Check and see if you have the "blank.gif" uploaded in the avatar folder

I tried putting a file in called 'blank.gif',

how do I get it to use a specific image if the user doesn't select an avatar instead of the red x

yea, I figured it probably was, I just replied to this one because it was the first one that came up on my search, my bad.

I got it figured out, don't know if its the right way but it worked for me.  when I did a properties on the red x, it was pointing to the 'Avatars' directory and then 'noavatar'.  I just renamed my 'blank.gif' to 'noavatar' (with no extension) and it worked.
