SMF 2.0 RC3 error.

Hello guys, when our board updated to RC3, it changed everyone's permissions from private messasging to receive from administrators only. Is there a way to change that? It's very frustrating.

Are PM's enabled in users permissions ?

Yeah they are.

it seems some still have this problem
when we updated to RC3 (from RC2) there was an error in the update.
almost all where set to recive pm's from admin only.
there is a topic about this on the smf forum (thanks Heike for finding that)

have a look here and see if you still have it.

Carb0n, can I suggest updating to RC4 and telling us if that helps
