I would suggest a informative and easy system when change forum colors. It is hard if you aren't a experienced forum administrator. To change to your own colors is a important options, nearby all admins want something own, like colors.

How can you possibly know how colors are changed when you haven't seen it yet?

In YaBB SE it was a sticky process indeed.  In SMF, it's as simple as changing the css file.
