Hey guys, I search around the forum and I coulnt find anything, idk if anyone else experience this, but after the upgrade now some of my headers have this icon. It look like part of the default theme. It shows more in the Simple Portal on every header, so I though it was SP, but inside the Admin section I have it too. This is what it look like.

From what version to what version were you upgrading? Does the default theme work?

I don't know if this is related to your problem but I upgraded first to RC3 and lost the icons for Simple Portal under the administration panel. It just shows red x's.
Someone on the Simple Portal post said I should upgrade to RC4 and the latest Simple Portal version so I did that this morning but I still show red x's.
So I don't know if this is just a simple portal problem or a problem with my upgrades.

Maybe u r right. Maybe all the icons from SP got replaced. I guess I will check the image folder to see what's there instead. Now I did first upgrade smf then I did SP so Idk how it got replaced but thanks.

Did you use the large upgradepackage or the small updatepackage?

Does the default theme work?

I'm not sure which person you're asking but if it's me, I upgraded from smf 2.0 RC1.2 to RC3 using the large package, then updated to RC4 using the small update package.
I uninstalled all my mods before doing any of that.
And I believe the default works. Everything seems to work except the simple portal icons that link to to various tasks on Simple portal.

I used the large upgrade package.  Yes the default works. The other themes are the one that have that edge.

Ok I dont know how but I found the Solution. I found this thread at SimplePortal http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=6874.msg39238

I think this has to do with portal.css.
SMF made some changes to CURVE, which require some changes to portal.css.

So Themes/default/css/portal.css has some new stuff in SimplePortal 2.3.3

So here's what I would check:
Is that theme your default theme?
Does that theme have a copy of portal.css in its css directory?
Is it the NEWEST portal.css?

I copied the file portal.css from the default theme into each custom theme inside their css folder and it work.

Great, well done. And thanks for sharing :)

Although this didn't really have anything to do with me fixing my image problem, it made me realize I wasn't using the default theme.
Looks like the upgrade decided to use a theme called "Core" as the default but there's also a theme called default curve which is in the default folder. Once I switched to default curve, my icons were back.
I wouldn't have figured this out if I didn't go trying to look for the css file so thanks.

I guess weird answers get the right solution  ;D
