Error while sending news letters

Hi,

I would like to thank the developers of this great forum. I recently installed it on my host..
There is a problem with news letters. Whenever I send newsletters, i get the message

21 percent done and then I get the error "SQL database gone away" and some error message. Can someone help me in this. How can I resolve this

I think you'll find that that's down to a setting that your host has set up.

How many are you sending?

If it's like LOADS, the server may have a limit set.

Check with your host and report back.
