Moved forum, but can only se it on local machine ?

Hi,

'moved' a forum from the webserver to my local XAMP server. I installed SMF, then imported the MySQL exportfile from the server into it. 

On the computer runnimg XAMP + Forum, i can login and view messages and my profile. On another computer on my network i can only see the frontpage with the boards, almost every link i click gives an error that my browser cannot connect to the server and it may be busy ?

btw i did edit the settings.php

I think enterered  "localhost" in the settings.php (copy-paste from the adresbar)...

Have you set the server to "online"?

use repair_settings.php to be sure all your paths are correct:

I just made a stupid mistake...

on the local machine i logged on to http://localhost/forum

I copyed that url and pasted it in the settings.php as the forum url.
Obvoiusly, on the networkclient, there is no forum installed, so clicking on any link would get the error that the server can't be reached...

Problem is solved now...
