I was told to post this up in here. So here it is.

What started out as a joke and went form phpbb forums called green3d.com to SMF forums using mkportal for the front page, took off to become a striving Nvidia fanbase home. Just amazing how fast something could just take off. I'm am more than happy about my decision to move over to the SMF software. This is an absolutely amazing forums software. Great work to all the people that had a hand in building it to what it is today!

Check out the site....It's a completely custom theme and sorry. But it's not being handed out. Hope you understand!!

You can always please me with a dark bright color contrasted theme. It's stunning!

m3talc0re

That theme took theme took me 2 and a half solid days (no sleep) to do for the forums and portal (which are two seperate themes btw). Btw, you guys CAN register there and help the community grow :P

Hm, never a good idea to mix such stong contrasted colors. I got spots after looking it a while lol :) Nice theme..but those bars really are a eye-strain.

Ben_S

Looks nice, although I don't think I'd be able to look at it for long periods.

It's a good idea to have a color contrast and that theme doesn't hurt your eyes... They're soft blue background colors with light text and the bars are silver/grays. If it really is hurting your eyes, you've got your monitor's contrast too high.

And as for not looking at it for long periods of time, I've been looking at it for pretty much 4 days now, hasn't bothered me or any of the users there yet.

Whatever. I like to keep both my contrast high enough and my eyes in good shape thanks.

So...umm...does that make since to you?

You just contradicted what your saying!   :(

bloc

Really? I meant of course the contrast ON MY MONITOR since it was mentioned it was too high for my eyes.

But this is getting nowhere, comments were made and you can take it in - or not.

m3talc0re

You can take it in as well. If it really is hurting your eyes, I suggest you find an app that will let you adjust your monitor's settings correctly.

Cool theme, you could try this catbg2 I attached and change the .catbg style text colors to:
background-color: #000000;
color: #95c615;

just a friendly suggestion, the original catbg2 tends to burn the eyes.

edited to add, if you with this you may also wish to change the border-bottom as well:

border-bottom: solid 1px #95c615;

I have been super busy as of late. Working on updates to all my modifications for 2.0.1

The theme looks nice though I agree about that the contrast should be degraded.

Have you ever thought of the possibility of your monitor's setting being wrong?

Mine aren't wrong... Like I said, monitor image correction utilities...

Edit:
Heard too much whining about it being too bright of a gray (it's f'ing silver! silver is almost white!) so I toned it down. It's now a really really gray blue now, so blah.
