Building a christian gaming community?

What would be the ideal way to get this accomplished? I have recently moved from a regular gaming website with x rated material etc....and built a toned down yet more enjoyable christian one. How would I first approach the following:

1. Gaining members
2. Building attractive content
3. Advertising

I'm familiar with regular forums etc....but with the change of background "christian" I think it's harder to convey a message to people nowadays. Meaning....not alot of folks in this day & age want to spoil ones daily life with morals and caution. I'm just finding myself racking my brain on how to approach this. lol

Thanks for the help

Wally.

Well you have a pretty focused target group so that will help you alot.

Start with people you know. I assume that you attend church somewhere, let the people there know what you are doing and see if any of the members wish to join. You can also talk to other churches in your area and ask them about putting up flyers. I would imagine that most of them would be happy to help build an online community that echos their values. Another thing you can do is join non-game related christian forums and get to know the members. Let them know that you've got a place for christian gamers to network. (Be sure this is cool with the forum staff or you could end up getting banned.) You may also want to ask those same sites about banner exchanges.

Anyway that's a few related to recruiting off the top of my head.

Interesting combination of themes. Why not just enforce rules that do not allow adult material rather than say "Christian"?

Why ask for an apple if you want an orange?

My aim for a christian community is simple, let people with or without faith find a nice friendly site that does not force feed religion to them. (even those with faith can get carried away with "preaching")

You could also try spreading the word with church groups etc. I mean, concerns about ethics and video games aren't new, so I don't think you'd have a tough sell on your hands.
