Every time someone trys to post they throw this error: "Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message."

When I first open up to the home page it shows me logged in. When I try to login to the "Admin" I get this message:
"Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again." I get the same message if I try to logout.

How can I tell what version I'm running? At the bottom of the Home page it says "Powered by SMF 1.1.7".

I really apprecaite any help!!!!

You are running 1.1.7.

Grab a 1.1.12 large upgrade pack from the downloads page, unzip it, and via ftp  use all the files it contains to overwrite the ones on your server, then run the upgrade by typing in your address bar

http://www.yoursitesname.com/upgrade.php

This will probably resolve your issue, as well as applying all the security patches that have been released.

You will need to re-install any mods you have after the upgrade.

That seemed to fix the session timeout issue but now everytime a post is made the page will not refresh, it just shows a blank page. If I click the browser's back button and return to Home, I find that the post was made.

When I run "Upgrade.php" I get a message that some of the old files still exist. I have uploaded all the files numerous times to try to fix this. I have opened up every folder on the server checking the dates on the uploaded files and I don't see any old dates.

Again, I really appreciate your help!

Is this issue solved or do you still require assistance?

Make sure you are overwriting files.  Don't select overwrite if a new date or any other option that your FTP client might provide.
